ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE INSTITUTION OF ROYAL ENGINEERS

Major General N J Cavanagh CB FInstRE, President of the Institution, will take the Chair at 1700 hours.

Agenda

Item 1: To accept the proceedings of the 2023 AGM.

Item 2: To note the report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023.

Item 3: To note matters of importance that have arisen since the previous meeting.

Item 4: To note the re-appointment of the Auditors for 2024 for all Corps Funds made by the Chief Royal Engineer’s Board.

Item 5: To update Members of progress towards converting the Royal Engineers Museum, Library and Archive into a Charitable Incorporated Organisation Foundation.

Item 6: To agree changes to the Bye-Laws recommended by the Engineering Council, Privy Council and Governance Panel, prior to approval by the Privy Council.

Item 7: To agree changes to the Rules recommended by Council.

Item 8: To note changes to the Regulations made by Council.

Item 9: To re-elect the President and elect two Vice Presidents.

Item 10: To note the appointment of one new Ex-Officio Trustees.

Item 11: Any other business.
