JOINT PROFESSIONAL MEETING – 2 MARCH 2023
‘Similarities and differences between designing and building the Strategic Road Network and roads for military operations’ – a blend of military and civilian experiences.
The Institution of Royal Engineers (InstRE) is pleased to announce a Joint Professional Meeting (JPM) between itself, National Highways and the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC). The JPM will consider the challenges of planning and constructing strategic roads, whether these be within the United Kingdom or overseas, and provide a platform to compare and discuss requirements, share best practice and highlight likenesses and variances. The evening will enable Members to engage with both National Highways and ARRC engineers and allow individuals to expand their professional networks meeting likeminded engineers from Industry. The evening will culminate in a Panel Question and Answer session. It is anticipated that interest to attend might exceed availability so it is strongly recommended that Members book as early as possible. Any overflow will be managed via a Reserve List.
