Mycareerpath is an online tool that can help members work towards their first Engineering registration, as well as Continuing their Professional Development within an existing registration. It will also help you to plan, record and update evidence in support of your next engineering registration application.

At first use you will have to register to set up a new account with Mycareerpath. Thereafter login and enter your details.

Mycareerpath allows you to create and populate three elements. They are:

1. A CPD plan (what CPD you intend to do over the next 10+ years, or even over the next 2 weeks, based on your needs)
2. Evidence of Development (what you actually do for CPD and how it has helped you to develop)
3. CPD Progress (a combination of plan, evidence and your job spec for a given time period)

• CPD Submissions (Any CPD Plan, Evidence and Progress) that you have submitted for review and support.

CPD Plan

This screen enables you to create a plan for development towards any future professional target.  The CPD Activity allows you to define the CPD type and Profile enables you to target a Professional Registration level or to state generic CPD.

Evidence

This screen gives you the opportunity to document, recognise and claim your own development.  It helps to define how you have grown through the CPD you have completed.

Progress

The Progress screen collects and shows the Plans and Evidence that you have created over a specific period of time.  You can base it on general CPD or on a competency framework.
