Royal Engineers Historical Society

Our Corps history provides a rich source of of experience from which we can learn and develop new ideas to strengthen our future as military engineers supporting the Nation.  Sine its re-establishment in 2016, the Royal Engineers Historical Society (REHS), as an integral part of the Institution, has achieved a great deal in promoting an interest in military engineering history and heritage, and in reflecting on this history to engage in debate and the future direction of the Corps.  I fully support the activities of the REHS and welcome the contribution made in advancing the art and science of military engineering.  I encourage those of you in the Corps family with an interest in this important role to engage with the REHS, learn from our history, and become members, bridging the past, to the present for the future.  This is:

Your Corps – Your History – Your Future
