Were you involved in
Mine Clearance following Op Corporate?
What’s your story?

Is Mine clearance
different (harder/ easier) in certain climates?
Are you involved in mine
clearance as a civilian? Are there
better, quicker, safer ways to tackle this issue? What’s your story?

What dates as a Professional
Engineering Institution (PEI)?
|
As a PEI we can assess
and award a range of Engineering registrations. These registrations enable your
professional level to be recognised in a military and civilian setting.
|
|
Our history of trenches
and tunnelling, seems, to be a thing of the past. How would we, could we, tunnel under/around
enemy positions now?
|
Apart from the current
situation in Ukraine, that seems to be centred around the possession of
territory, more recent conflicts didn’t have a ‘Front-line’.
|
Could we use RAS technology to make
the task safer, easier, quicker? Do you work within the civilian earthmoving
industry, how is it different?
The Queen
Elizabeth Line works have cut a tunnel under London. Is this tunnel
boring approach a possibility in future conflict?
Have you worked on the
new underground line?

Starting Point
|
|
As a Professional
Engineering Institution (PEI), we are able to assist our Sapper family’s
development and future engineering capabilities. We support our past and currently serving
members in achieving and improving their engineering qualifications,
registration and recognition.
Simply being a member
of the Institution; which by the way, can be achieved as easily as
contributing to the Days-pay-scheme, enables
you to use the Post-Nominals
MInstRE.

CPD – mycareerpath(MCP)
is a CPD tool supplied through the InstRE that can
drive you towards the next engineering registration or strengthen your
current level.
From the very beginning of your Corps career
you can connect your training and development to the first, next and
developing engineering level.
