Contemporary Engineering Challenge 2022
ONCE again the standard of articles entered for the Contemporary Engineering Challenge have been highly impressive. Collectively the submissions have embraced the aim to promote or foster education in the art and science of military engineering, identify opportunities for the future of the Royal Engineers, highlight pertinent lessons from the past that are equally applicable in today’s and tomorrow’s challenges for the Corps, amplify the planning and command aspects of the Royal Engineers work today and in the future, demonstrate the adaptation or innovation that the Corps has done in the past three years, and showcase either the logistical, or technical aspects of Royal Engineers work today and in the future.
This year a ‘massive’ £5,450 has been given out in prize money alone, with the total sponsorship of the event coming to nearly £6,000!
